I woke up one day and realized I’ve been living in black and white. I either do or I don’t. I mostly don’t. Maybe it’s fear. Maybe it’s just bad psychology. Either way, I want to stop waiting for life to color itself in. I’m actively filtering through the chaos of my midlife transformation, locking in my focus, and speeding through my bucket list.
This is a chronicle of my journey in the autumn palette. I’m trading my midlife blur for sharper shades.
- The Browns: Shedding and Unburdening. Dropping old identities, leaving behind people-pleasing, letting go of past regrets, and clearing out the emotional clutter that wastes my precious time.
- The Reds: Passion, Fire, & Urgency. The fast-tracked bucket list items, bold adventures, setting fierce boundaries, and things I am aggressively pursuing because the clock is ticking.
- The Golds: Enlightenment & Sharp Wisdom. My midlife awakening, profound shifts in perspective, making sense of the chaos, and celebrating the deep value of my late-forties maturity.
- The Greens: Growing with vitality. Protecting my mental health, physical wellness, and ageless energy for the next chapter.
- The Blues: Seeking the stillness. Stepping back from the noise to find mental clarity, peace, and focused calm.
- The Purples: Owning my sovereignty. Trusting my intuition and confidently becoming the absolute main character of my life.
Maybe there will be more down the life. For now, warmth is in these colors.
